Primary Marking Systems, Inc. announced today the release of “ePedigree Connector” serialization software, which, if used for pharmaceuticals, is the first step towards compliance with California’s drug pedigree regulations. The ePedigree Connector is an easy to use tool designed for tracking of RFID/2D barcode labeled units, cases and pallets as well as automatic label printing and application, including RFID/2D barcode labels.

The software is available through SaaS (Software as a Service) or Software Ownership models. ePedigree Connector's touch screen capabilities and intuitive menus allow for easy reprinting of missing, bad, non-readable labels with minimal employee training. ePedigree Connector can be modified to interface with existing production systems for data retrieval and reporting, or be used as a stand-alone system. Handheld mobile computers can be employed to identify damaged RFID/2D tags, and to allow reprinting. Production run and shipment transaction reporting using ePedigree Connector helps track production and shipment status, along with other important information.
